About Sabina

A little about me

My path to becoming a therapist began with a simple but powerful belief: feeling understood can change the way we move through life.

Throughout my life and my work, I have witnessed the relief that comes from having a space to share honestly, process what feels heavy, and be met with compassion. Those moments have shaped the way I support my clients today—as they navigate relationships, life transitions, and the experiences that bring them to therapy.

I believe healing begins through connection, and that no one should have to carry the difficult parts of life alone.

My clinical background

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, teens, and families through emotional struggles, relationship concerns, life transitions, and seasons of change.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, providing individual therapy as well as relational work with couples and families. My approach is grounded in the belief that our emotions, behaviors, and relationships are deeply connected. Whether we are working through anxiety, self-worth, communication, family dynamics, or major life transitions, I strive to understand each person within the context of their unique story.

I have also served as a lead family therapist and spent many years working in rehabilitation treatment settings supporting individuals impacted by addiction and their loved ones. These roles have given me a deeper understanding of the ways our past experiences, relationships, and patterns shape how we connect with ourselves and others. They have reinforced my belief that every person deserves to be approached with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore what is beneath the surface, and understood enough to begin moving toward something different.

Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, recognizing the patterns that may no longer serve you, and creating relationships that feel more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Beyond the therapy room

Outside of my work as a therapist, I am a wife and mother of two children. I have been with my husband for over 20 years, and this part of my life has shaped the way I understand relationships—the importance of communication, repair, patience, and continuing to grow together through different seasons.

I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. Sharing the parts of your life that feel painful, uncertain, or overwhelming takes courage. My hope is that from our first conversation, you feel welcomed, understood, and supported.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you navigate change, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more connected.
